Kristy,
Office Manager

Kristy has been a part of the dental field for nearly 15 years, with most of that time spent right here at Dr. Thompson’s dental office. She studied at ENMU-Roswell and has been taking various continuing education courses in insurance billing and other topics over the past decade to stay up to date. For her, the most rewarding part of this job by far is being able to see the positive transformations in patients’ lives! She gets the pleasure of meeting some of the best people around while also being a part of their smile journey.

At home, Kristy has been happily married to her husband Jesus since 1995, and they have two grown sons (Brody and Gaige) and two grandkids (Jayce and Winter). Most of her free time is spent spoiling them rotten! If they’re not busy at the softball fields, you can usually find them in Colorado Springs, as that’s where the grandkids live.

An interesting fact about Kristy: She grew up with five brothers! Being the only girl was tough, but she wouldn’t have changed it for anything.

Serena,
Treatment Coordinator

A Roswell native, Serena attended ENMU-Portales. Today, as our dedicated treatment coordinator, she always looked forward to seeing the delighted reactions of our patients after their smile transformations are complete!

Away from work, Serena spends lots of quality time with her two children. Her daughter Gabrielle is a senior who plays basketball and softball, while her son Isacc is a junior who plays baseball and football. Outside of various sporting activities, her favorite hobbies include camping and fishing.

An interesting fact about Serena: her mother is a liver transplant survivor.

Darby,
Dental Hygienist

Originally from Clovis, Darby studied dental hygiene at the University of New Mexico. Today, as our dedicated hygienist, she loves being able to make the dental experience comfortable and much less frightening for worried patients who are expecting the worst. The dentist’s office can be nerve-wracking for many people, but she goes above and beyond to help them feel at ease!

Away from work, Darby recently got engaged to her fiancé, and she also has two very hardworking parents and two brilliant younger sisters. As for hobbies, she enjoys working out in all forms, with her favorite activities being running and taking barre classes. She also likes hiking and snowboarding outdoors, attending sporting events, and traveling. Some of her favorite places to go include Hawaii, the Grand Cayman Islands, and Turks and Caicos.

An interesting fact about Darby: while attending dental hygiene school, a series of not-so-fortunate events led her and her fiancé to aid in the capture of a murderer!

Jessica,
Dental Assistant

Jessica has been a member of our team for almost a decade so far, with over 17 years spent in the dental field altogether. For her, life has its way of showing God’s grace and goodness throughout many endeavors, especially here in the dental office. She loves that the team can serve patients with a smile in a way that literally changes their lives for the better!

Jessica is the proud mother of two amazing boys, and she recently became a new Grannie to a beautiful little girl who was born in November of 2020. In her spare time, she enjoys watching things grow in her garden, serving in her church, watching sunrises/sunsets, fishing and camping in the outdoors, getting a workout in daily, and (of course) being with her loved ones.

An interesting fact about Jessica: she lost her voice for a year because of a tragic incident that caused vocal cord paresthesia! Thankfully, a doctor was able to perform surgery and place a vocal cord implant, allowing her to shout from the rooftops again with ease.

Stephenie’s dental career spans nearly five years so far, and she loves helping create new, healthy smiles for patients as one of our assistants. Originally from Clovis, she attended the Texas School of Business for her education.

At home, Stephenie has three children – twin girls and a little boy. They all love staying active in recreational sports! She plays women’s competitive softball, as well as indoor/sand volleyball. Other favorite hobbies include crafting with the kids, going on trips to the lake, and traveling.

An interesting fact about Stephenie: she was named after her father Stephen – he added the “ie” to her name!
